Welcome to the wedding celebration of Rick Devlin and Sue Kim! We are so honored to have you with us as we begin this new chapter together. All the information you need for our wedding events are provided here.

Our Story
On February 8, 2025, Rick and Sue met at Naya Dessert Cafe in San Francisco- and from that moment on, their lives changed forever.
On June 29, 2026, Rick proposed to Sue in Tuscany at Castiglion del Bosco- to which she said yes to forever.
We are so honored to share our love and next chapter in life with you all in August 2027!

Following our ceremony will be our cocktail hour on the 12th floor of the University Club of Chicago in the Gallery Room. It has a private outdoor terrace providing a stunning, rooftop view of Chicago. Hors d'oeuvres, food stations, and open bar will be served.

How do I RSVP for myself & partner/ family?
Our RSVP will open up on this website closer to the date of event. Please check back late Spring next year! Our formal invitations will provide further RSVP information.
What is the dress code for the welcome party?
Semi- Formal Attire
We recommend keeping it dressy- casual to complement the ambience and energy of a summer Chicago night!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Black-Tie/Black Formal Attire
We kindly ask everyone to be dressed in black attire; tuxedos or formal suits with a tie for men, and floor-length evening gowns for women.
Are children welcome?
We adore your kids, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (unless specified on your invite). We truly thank you for making arrangements so that you can be there with us!
How do I get to the welcome party and wedding? Will transportation be provided?
Uber Voucher Code: TBA (Provided closer to date of event)
We are providing unlimited Uber rides between the University Club of Chicago/RPM Seafood/hotels/ your home.
Please use the Uber voucher code "TBA" during checkout in your Uber app.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, complimentary valet service is provided at the venue.
However, we strongly encourage the use of our Uber voucher as we will be covering all Uber rides between the venues/hotels/your home.
Will any of the events take place outdoors?
The welcome party will be in a private, indoor space at RPM Seafood with an outdoor terrace attached.
The wedding celebration will take place predominantly indoors at the University Club of Chicago. However, during the cocktail hour, the rooftop Gallery room has an attached private, outdoor terrace.
I have a dietary requirement. Are you able to accommodate?
Yes, absolutely! Please let us know in your RSVP and we will communicate your needs directly to the caterer. If your dietary requirement is severe, please reach out directly so we can confirm the details prior to the day.

Crosstown Classic (Chicago Cubs vs White Sox)
August 6-8
Enjoy the iconic Crosstown Classic rivalry game between the Chicago Cubs and White Sox in a 3-game series. (Go Cubs go!) The White Sox will be hosting the Cubs at the Rate Field. Whether at the Rate Field or watching the game in Wrigleyville, it'll be a true Chicago experience!
Architectural Boat Tour
Take an architectural boat tour along the Chicago River to see the city's famous skyscrapers and learn about their history. Tickets can be purchased online or day of to assess the weather.
Millenium Park/ Museums
Right at the center of the Chicago Loop, visit Millenium Park to see the famous "Bean" and walk around the beautiful landscape. Or take a visit to the Art Institute , Shedd Aquarium, or Field Museum..
Lakefront Trail/ Chicago Riverwalk
Take a relaxing walk, bike ride, or run along the river/ lake to see a panoramic view of the Chicago skyline. You'll also get a glimpse of the stunning Chicago Riverwalk at RPM Seafood at the welcome party!
